‘Comfort and Security a Barn Awakens’
The
smell of fresh cut hay lures me in,
The
barn smells alive, full of life,
A
fresh growing meadow.
The
horses rest in the comfort of their stalls,
Quite
and peaceful, like an empty forest,
Only
hearing the gentle sounds.
The
rabbits roam free and wild.
Scurrying
in from the outside to nest in the straw.
The
straw light but warm,
Beds
the horses and other life from the cold.
The
birds sing an a live melody,
It
echoes through the hollow old barn.
The
pitch fork rest against the wall,
Another
day of chores conquered.
The
water sits in the trough still,
Cleansing
the dust,
And
ever so slightly rippling,
As
I gather more water for the horses.

Not Alone
My life remains to fade away
I’ll watch over you today
Helping you with every struggle
Saving you from all your troubles
Protecting you from bad to good
Anything for you I would
By your side for every moment
Our moments won’t be stolen
Ill embrace whoever you become
I promise I’ll never be far
No matter the distance I’ll always be near
You have no need to fear
I will always be here
My words I speak sincere
Just look into the sky
I’ll be that shooting star
For you I will continue to try
No longer will your mind be unclear
This is our forever chance
I’ll do my best to keep you safe
I’ll never let you go again
A Human Canvas
All
the unseen Beauty,
A
single figure holds,
A
single story left untold,
Absolutely
Such
a mystery,
Majestic
and pure.
The
scars tell about her misery,
You
don’t see she’s insecure
There
lies the vibrant truth,
The
truth of her true colors.
You
finally see the real her,
Multicolored,
The
collapse of it all,
Her
mind and thoughts begin to fall.
As
human, you can only be strong
Only
Strong
For
So
Long
